Established in 2007 by Katrina Sykes, Soirée Catering was created out of a passion for providing delicious wholesome food and love of entertaining. Based in the Western Suburbs, Soirée quickly grew with the help of an amazing kitchen and front of house team many of whom are still with Soirée today.
Soirée has etched out its own unique space in Perth’s catering landscape. Our passion for fresh seasonal ingredients, cooking, sharing, partying and classic hospitality service inspires us to love what we do. By listening carefully to the clients vision, we then design an event that is truly tailored to suit. Creating memorable events is what we do.
How We Work.
At Soirée Catering, we are there beside you for all of life’s occasions. Whether if be celebrating a baptism, wedding, 50th birthday or saying farewell to a loved one, we treat all of these milestones with great respect and sensitivity.
We also know how to get a party started. Exceptional food and personalised service, matched with mood lighting and music will turn average into extraordinary. Often the best events are for no particular reason other than to celebrate life. A “why not” party.
Katrina has worked in the hospitality industry since she was 14yrs old starting out at The Ming Village in Bunbury for Frank & Shirley who constantly told her she “talked too much”. Her bubbly personality and love of entertaining lead her to a carve out a career in this industry.
From working in cafes, restaurants and catering companies in Sydney for many years, Katrina moved back to Perth in 2003 to start her family. From humble beginnings of a small friends and family client base to now being a well respected Western Suburbs go to caterer. Soirée Catering is the latest evolution in Katrina’s career, cementing her presence in the highly competitive catering industry.
Supported by her incredibly talented and dedicated team, it is with great pride that her business continues to grow and creating memorable events for her clients.
Head Chef Robyn Whittaker
Soirée Catering’s kitchen team is headed by Robyn who has had over 20 years experience in catering and restaurants. Robyn’s foundations are based on classic French training which has been refined, developed and expanded whilst working in London for a large catering company cooking for up to 5,000 people at a time. Robyn has cooked for royalty and rock stars. Her insistence on using only fresh local produce combined with her creative culinary approach to food gives Soirée the edge over our competitors.
